The Ninth Anniversary E-Book Edition of the 'Classic' DIY Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Novel, The Infiltration of Evil Uberlord, Emperor Squid

In 2003, I wrote a Choose Your Own Adventure book, The Infiltration of Evil Uberlord, Emperor Squid under the clever pseudonym Tarah Silly, photocopied it and gave about 50 copies to friends (and random strangers!) for Christmas. Nine years later, and I still run into people who, upon introduction, fondly regale me with the time they were having a pee at this party and found the book, and stayed in the bathroom for thirty minutes, laughing, until the dudes in the lineup grew restless and busted in the door (for example). I have met others who wished to own a copy, having heard about it, but due to the limited original print run, can only dream of such a glorious thing.

To satiate you all, I have decided to get all fancy and make a pdf of the original novel, and then make it available for the low, low price of FREE, here on this super-fancy blogging-type website. Bonus – in this version the ‘illustrations’ are in all their full-colour ‘glory’.

I do hope you enjoy. Each page has been lovingly hand-scanned from the original over a period of six dark December afternoons in 2012.
